CVE-2026-5201
This heap-based buffer overflow vulnerability occurs in the JPEG image loader due to improper validation of color component counts when processing a specially crafted JPEG image.
Does this matter?
High impact if exploited, but EPSS currently rates exploitation as unlikely (1.07%). Schedule it in the normal patch cycle and watch for a rise in EPSS or a public exploit.
Description
