go-micro before 6.0.0 contains an improper certificate validation vulnerability that allows network attackers to impersonate services because the shared TLS helper sets InsecureSkipVerify to true by default.
Does this matter?
High impact if exploited, but EPSS currently rates exploitation as unlikely (0.19%). Schedule it in the normal patch cycle and watch for a rise in EPSS or a public exploit.
