CVE-2024-12085
This flaw allows an attacker to manipulate the checksum length (s2length) to cause a comparison between a checksum and uninitialized memory and leak one byte of uninitialized stack data at a time.
Does this matter?
High impact if exploited, but EPSS currently rates exploitation as unlikely (8.82%). Schedule it in the normal patch cycle and watch for a rise in EPSS or a public exploit.
