This flaw leads to a denial of service after authentication in rare circumstances.

MEDIUM 6.5EPSS 1.75%

Does this matter?

Lower severity and a low EPSS score (1.75%). Track it; it rarely justifies an emergency change on its own.

Description

A NULL pointer dereference flaw was found in GnuTLS. As Nettle's hash update functions internally call memcpy, providing zero-length input may cause undefined behavior. This flaw leads to a denial of service after authentication in rare circumstances.
