This is due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping. Specifically, the `render_social_link()` function in `modules/mount/widgets/mount.php` outputs the `follow_us_text` Elementor widget setting using `echo` without any escaping function. The setting value is stored in `_elementor_data` post meta via `update_post_meta`. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Author-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.","published":"2026-04-08T05:16:07.000Z","lastModified":"2026-07-25T10:10:00.000Z","status":"Deferred","sourceIdentifier":"security@wordfence.com","cvss":{"version":"3.1","score":6.4,"severity":"MEDIUM","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N"},"cwe":["CWE-79"],"affected":[],"epss":{"score":0.00362,"percentile":0.29735,"date":"2026-10-26","history":[]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"low","text":"Lower severity and a low EPSS score (0.36%).
