In versions 7.5.1 through 7.13.1, when using Framework Mode with pre-rendering enabled, improper neutralization of the HTTP `Location` header value can permit Cross-Site Scripting (XSS) in the statically generated HTML files if the redirect location comes from an untrusted source. This does not impact applications using Declarative Mode (`<BrowserRouter>`) or Data Mode (`createBrowserRouter/<RouterProvider>`). This is patched in version 7.13.2.","published":"2026-06-02T17:16:28.000Z","lastModified":"2026-07-21T19:10:00.000Z","status":"Analyzed","sourceIdentifier":"security-advisories@github.com","cvss":{"version":"3.1","score":5.4,"severity":"MEDIUM","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N"},"cwe":["CWE-79"],"affected":["shopify/react-router"],"epss":{"score":0.00144,"percentile":0.03696,"date":"2026-10-26","history":[]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"low","text":"Lower severity and a low EPSS score (0.14%).
