During project execution, when the system prompts the user to confirm or modify a command to be run, it accepts free-text input without proper validation. The user-supplied input is directly passed to asyncio.create_subprocess_shell() for execution. This allows an attacker to replace the intended command with arbitrary shell commands, leading to remote code execution with the privileges of the GPT-Pilot process.","published":"2026-05-11T16:17:30.000Z","lastModified":"2026-06-17T10:33:31.000Z","status":"Deferred","sourceIdentifier":"cve@mitre.org","cvss":{"version":"3.1","score":6.5,"severity":"MEDIUM","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:L/A:N"},"cwe":["CWE-78"],"affected":[],"epss":{"score":0.00704,"percentile":0.53061,"date":"2026-10-26","history":[]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"low","text":"Lower severity and a low EPSS score (0.70%).
