Prior to version 2026.02.0, when WithdrawAuthorization is processed before the TransactionStarted event, AuthHandler determines `transaction_active=false` and only calls `withdraw_authorization_callback`. This path ultimately calls `Charger::deauthorize()`, but no actual stop (StopTransaction) occurs in the Charging state. As a result, authorization withdrawal can be defeated by timing, allowing charging to continue. Version 2026.02.0 contains a patch.","published":"2026-03-26T17:16:35.000Z","lastModified":"2026-06-17T10:29:30.000Z","status":"Analyzed","sourceIdentifier":"security-advisories@github.com","cvss":{"version":"3.1","score":6.5,"severity":"MEDIUM","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:H/A:L"},"cwe":["CWE-863"],"affected":["linuxfoundation/everest"],"epss":{"score":0.00299,"percentile":0.2237,"date":"2026-10-26","history":[]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"low","text":"Lower severity and a low EPSS score (0.30%).
