After a successful preliminary POP3 or IMAP login, Zimbra sends the injected commands to the selected SMTP service. If that service accepts the pipelined transaction, the attacker can submit mail with attacker-selected recipients, headers and body content without victim interaction. The vulnerable command-construction path is present in ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20.","published":"2026-10-23T14:17:53.000Z","lastModified":"2026-10-24T04:18:18.000Z","status":"Undergoing Analysis","sourceIdentifier":"cve@rapid7.com","cvss":{"version":"3.1","score":4.3,"severity":"MEDIUM","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:L/A:N"},"cwe":["CWE-93"],"affected":[],"epss":{"score":0.00732,"percentile":0.54041,"date":"2026-10-26","history":[{"date":"2026-10-24","score":0.00979,"percentile":0.6191}]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"low","text":"Lower severity and a low EPSS score (0.73%).
