A user holding only the station-scoped RemoteRelays permission can therefore set a Remote Relay URL pointing at loopback, private-network, or cloud-metadata addresses (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:<port>/ or http://169.254.169.254/latest/meta-data/), and AzuraCast's periodic background Now Playing sync (AbstractRemote::getNowPlayingAsync) will automatically and repeatedly issue HTTP requests to that address, resulting in server-side request forgery against internal resources. This affects the main branch as of commit bcf8754eef3a268ad82c3db4d81f7920c3c28b56 (2026-07-31); no patched version is available at the time of the advisory.","published":"2026-09-27T02:17:24.000Z","lastModified":"2026-09-28T21:02:16.000Z","status":"Deferred","sourceIdentifier":"disclosure@vulncheck.com","cvss":{"version":"4.0","score":7.1,"severity":"HIGH","vector":"CVSS:4.0/AV:N/AC:L/AT:N/PR:L/UI:N/VC:H/VI:L/VA:N/SC:N/SI:N/SA:N/E:X/CR:X/IR:X/AR:X/MAV:X/MAC:X/MAT:X/MPR:X/MUI:X/MVC:X/M"},"cwe":["CWE-918"],"affected":[],"epss":{"score":0.00219,"percentile":0.12303,"date":"2026-10-26","history":[{"date":"2026-09-27","score":0.00178,"percentile":0.06571}]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"high","text":"High impact if exploited, but EPSS currently rates exploitation as unlikely (0.22%).
