This problem can be\nfixed the same way, however, the code will be complex.\n\nHence switch to use list_for_each_entry, in this case mddev_put() can free\nthe mddev1 and it's not safe as well. Refer to md_seq_show(), also factor\nout a helper mddev_put_locked() to fix this problem.","published":"2025-04-16T15:16:07.000Z","lastModified":"2026-06-17T08:45:12.000Z","status":"Modified","sourceIdentifier":"416baaa9-dc9f-4396-8d5f-8c081fb06d67","cvss":{"version":"3.1","score":7.8,"severity":"HIGH","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:L/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H"},"cwe":["CWE-416"],"affected":["linux/linux kernel"],"epss":{"score":0.00198,"percentile":0.09388,"date":"2026-10-26","history":[]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"high","text":"High impact if exploited, but EPSS currently rates exploitation as unlikely (0.20%).
