This is due to the plugin not providing sufficient path validation on the tree_node[node][id] parameter. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with admin-level access and above, to call files using a PHAR wrapper that will deserialize the data and call arbitrary PHP Objects. No POP chain is present in the vulnerable plugin. If a POP chain is present via an additional plugin or theme installed on the target system, it could allow the attacker to delete arbitrary files, retrieve sensitive data, or execute code.","published":"2024-04-12T10:15:09.000Z","lastModified":"2026-06-17T07:43:13.000Z","status":"Modified","sourceIdentifier":"security@wordfence.com","cvss":{"version":"3.1","score":7.2,"severity":"HIGH","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:H/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H"},"cwe":["CWE-502"],"affected":["wpvivid/migration\\, backup\\, staging"],"epss":{"score":0.41543,"percentile":0.98681,"date":"2026-11-03","history":[]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"urgent","text":"EPSS puts the probability of exploitation in the next 30 days at 41.5%, higher than 99% of all known CVEs.
