This is the result of a bad set up and can be mitigated by appropriately configuring ROS and/or applying custom patches as appropriate. Currently, the ROS computational graph can be accessed fully from the wired exposed ports. In combination with other flaws such as CVE-2020-10269, the computation graph can also be fetched and interacted from wireless networks. This allows a malicious operator to take control of the ROS logic and correspondingly, the complete robot given that MiR's operations are centered around the framework (ROS).","published":"2020-06-24T05:15:13.000Z","lastModified":"2026-06-17T02:47:36.000Z","status":"Modified","sourceIdentifier":"cve@aliasrobotics.com","cvss":{"version":"3.1","score":9.8,"severity":"CRITICAL","vector":"CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H"},"cwe":["CWE-668"],"affected":["aliasrobotics/mir100 firmware","aliasrobotics/mir200 firmware","aliasrobotics/mir250 firmware","aliasrobotics/mir500 firmware","aliasrobotics/mir1000 firmware","mobile-industrial-robotics/er200 firmware","enabled-robotics/er-lite firmware","enabled-robotics/er-flex firmware","enabled-robotics/er-one firmware","uvd-robots/uvd robots firmware"],"epss":{"score":0.01802,"percentile":0.78365,"date":"2026-10-26","history":[]},"kev":{"listed":false},"exploits":{"count":0,"verified":false,"firstPublished":null,"source":"Exploit-DB (https://gitlab.com/exploit-database/exploitdb)","entries":[]},"verdict":{"level":"high","text":"High impact if exploited, but EPSS currently rates exploitation as unlikely (1.80%).
